See what love can look like

My daughter’s birthday came and went and just now am I getting around to posting about it.  Over the last year she has become this mini lady, wannabe adult and I don’t know if to smile or cry about it.  She loves to make breakfast  and read bedtime stories to her little sister.  She tells me how she feels like such a grown up now that she’s 8 years old!  Where does the time go? It wasn’t too long ago that she was a tiny little baby, helpless, depending on me for every little thing. With every day that passes she needs me less and less and I’m so proud of the lady she’s growing up to be.

This birthday she wanted to go to a baseball game and bowling… I know, weird combo. But that’s what we did. We had a blast and celebrated the way she wanted, surrounded by her family that loves her. May God continue to bless her little life and may she live long enough to watch her own children go to baseball games and bowling.  Goodbye 7… hello 8. Happy birthday, my love!
